July, 2012:

Publish Your Great Articles on Blogs and Article Directories will Improve Your Rank

Lately google made some changes to their ranking algorithm,   the reason cited is that google wanted to provide more relevant results, according to their official blog, this change impacts 11.8% organic search results, in plain English, there are about 12% of google search results are considered low quality by google itself. They planned and started the update about one year ago, maybe that’s why some of my ranks dropped out of first 10 pages, on the other hand almost all keywords promoted by contextual links are not affected, and a few of them even gained a few positions, it’s almost a sure thing that plain link building loses all it’s attraction, at least in the eye of google.

So what exactly is linking campaign the old way? a large percentage of SEO firms will do this,  they will get links from any websites which accept adding links, the content on those sites will never be updated, it’s safe to assume all of them are trash, the name link spamming are just for these sites. New google algorithm most likely will punish these link spammers,  the links on those spamming sites won’t work anymore.

Let’s check out a few examples. It was quite some time ago, I needed to rank the keyword, Trailer Strapping and Tracking, of course with old way of link building, lately I figured that every site in the campaign had way too many links, and those sites had only links, no real content at all. This strategy worked in the beginning, lately the keyword link stayed on the first page for a while, this was the case until google made the change. Now let’s look at another keyword, chain pullers, most back links for this keyword are from articles and posts, almost no plain links, now we have really good ranking for this keyword. Old and outdated linking campaign lost to content linking, what’s next? Actually this is all about content, so if you create great content, your rank will improve over time, since search engines are another kind of readers. It’s never too late to build good blogs for business purpose, such as this interesting blog, best baby strollers , I build it as a hobby and kept adding good or mediocre content, it’s no way this site will rank, right?, actually, no, much to my surprise that the site actually ranks for quite a few keywords. As far as SEO concerned, creating quality content and blog marketing is what we have to do to get great result. If you can build a group of your own blogs, for instance Now This is What I’m Talking About, then it will be easier to do article marketing.

Remember content is king, you just need to create content, get people to enjoy and share your stuff, promote your business with the content, this strategy will prevail in short or long term. Whatever you do, you will need persistence and patience, you shouldn’t expect things to improve overnight, i.e., selling online or improve your search rankings, now all we have to do is to give our love for creating and sharing great content and not to worry about the ranking every day. Ezine is one of the best article directories out there, new article will be indexed within an hour if not minutes, of course your posts on some blogs will be indexed real fast as well, here I am going to show you an article in article directory or on a blog, for example MFR Straps, nice writing, good content, published on popular site, all these points make it perfect for SEO.

Last but not least, if you don’t take social media account, you’re lost. The Twitter tools is a wordpress plugin, you can install it, sign up for a twitter account and create a new application, link your blog to twitter, you should choose to post a tweet for every new post, it’s real easy and useful, no one should miss this tool out.

Vegetarian Thai Food: A Guide to Eating Healthy (and Delicious) Thai Food!

0 Vegetarian Thai Food: A Guide to Eating Healthy (and Delicious) Thai Food!Get your copy of the Vegetarian Thai Food Guide: http://www.eatingthaifood.com/vegetarian-thai-food-guide/

Eating delicious Thai food is the highlight of many people’s trips to Thailand, but if you are a vegetarian or vegan, it can be sometimes be difficult to find the right Thai dishes to eat.

One of my favorite vegetarian / vegan restaurants in Bangkok is known as Baan Suan Pai, a food court dedicated to eating healthy Thai food. Even though I’m not vegetarian, I love eating vegetarian Thai food here!

At Baan Suan Pai vegetarian restaurant in Bangkok, they serve their food food court style – you order you meals and dishes, pay for them, and then find a place to sit.

Here’s a quick overview of the tasty Thai vegetarian food I ate in this video.

1. Gaeng Phet Fuktong (Vegetarian Thai Pumpkin Curry) is tasty curry made with chunks of healthy pumpkin stewed in chillies and coconut milk. It had a wonderful mild flavor to it, but it was extremely soothing – I loved it, one of my favorite vegetarian thai food dishes!

2. Gaeng Jued Mala (Bitter Melon Soup) is a bitter soup made with huge chunk of bitter melon and a few other herbs and vegetables. Bitterness can be a hard vegetable to get used to, but if you do enjoy it as a vegetarian or vegan, you’ll love this dish at Baan Suan Pai.

3. Puak Tod (Taro Roll) is a loaf of ground up pieces of taro root caked together and fried on the outside. The dish was served with a nice sweet and sour sauce. Along with full plates of rice and mixed toppings, Baan Suan Pai also serves some incredible vegetarian Thai food snacks like this!

4. Kuay Teow Lui Suan (Fresh Noodle Rolls) is a Thai dish that made with fresh rice noodle warpers filled with lettuce, an assortment of Thai herbs, tofu, and mushrooms. The vegetarian roll are delicious when dipped in the sweet and sour sauce provided.

5. Het Hom Ping (Grilled Mushrooms) are my absolute favorite thing to eat when at this vegetarian restaurant in Bangkok. The mushrooms are so delicious that they actually taste like pieces of sirloin steak – but instead are purely vegetarian and vegan. These skewers are absolutely incredible and you don’t want to miss them!

That wraps up my vegetarian Thai food feast – all dishes were exceptional, especially the pumpkin curry, the fresh noodle rolls and the grilled mushroom skewers.

Directions:
To get to Baan Suan Pai take the BTS to Ari station, take exit 1 and go down the stairs to your left, walk along Phahon Yothin road for about one hundred meters until you reach a sign that says welcome to banana family park. Turn right into the small cafe alley way, walk all the way to the back past a few coffee shops and a few stores until you can smell the delicious vegetarian food.

Hope you enjoyed this video on eating healthy vegetarian Thai food in Bangkok.

Yummy! Thai Food!

0 Yummy! Thai Food!I stumbled on a little Thai place while visiting friends and family just outside of Atlanta, GA. I usually order red curry, but this particular restaurant offered Massaman curry with cashews and avocado, which is my favorite way to have it prepared. If convenient, I would eat here again, http://thaiheaven.biz/

However, my favorite place to eat Thai food in and around Atlanta is a place called Surin of Thailand. It is located in a small neighborhood in downtown called Virginia-Highlands. http://www.yelp.com/biz/surin-of-thailand-atlanta-2

The flavoring for Massaman curry is called Massaman curry paste (nam phrik kaeng massaman). The dish usually contains coconut milk, roasted peanuts or cashews, potatoes, bay leaves, cardamom pods, cinnamon, star anise, palm sugar, fish sauce, chili and tamarind sauce. Traders brought spices such as turmeric, cinnamon, star anise, cumin, cloves and nutmeg from Indonesia to the south coast of Thailand. The dish is served with rice and sometimes with pickled ginger or “achat” (อาจาด [aːtɕàːt]), an accompaniment made with cucumber and chili peppers macerated in vinegar.
In 2011 CNNGo ranked massaman as number one in an article titled World’s 50 most delicious foods.

Traditional Japanese restaurant part 2 of 2

0 Traditional Japanese restaurant part 2 of 2Please see video “part 1 of 2″ first.

While in Osaka, in April of 2012 at a conference I had the good fortune to meet Mr. Ken and his family. The day after the conference Mr. Ken took Shun, Manabu, and me to an Osaka traditional Japanese Restaurant.

The restaurant is around one-hundred fifty years old. Meals are served in private rooms with tatami mats on the floors, low tables and chair. Shoes are left at the restaurant’s lobby; sandals are worn, and taken off before entering the private dinning room.

The food was served in small portions with many courses and it was all excellent. A big thanks to Mr. Ken for this outstanding Japanese meal and outstanding Japanese experience.
