Chinese Restaurant Closed After Dead Deer Found Inside Kitchen

0 Chinese Restaurant Closed After Dead Deer Found Inside KitchenOfficials in Whitley County shut down a Chinese restaurant Thursday after a dead deer was discovered inside.

The incident happened at the Red Flower Chinese Restaurant in Williamsburg. Officials say the son of the owner admitted to bringing the dead deer, which was apparently road kill, into the kitchen of the restaurant in order to clean and dress it.

When health officials found out, they immediately shut down the restaurant, and cited the son for having a white-tailed deer without a tag.

Officials say they will allow the restaurant to re-open after an inspection proves that it has been completely cleaned and sanitized.
